We have content ready to be posted, here and on our family YouTube channel, but the motivation to do so has been redirected elsewhere (we will update you soon). Although it’s ten weeks ago, we recently took a trip to see the family in Brisvagas (Brisbane) and had the most fun doing it. We drove over 500 miles in a single day, just to feel that family connection we long for all the way out here in the ACT.
Amazingly, we were able to sneak in just after the border opened and out just before they closed again as a second wave hit New South Wales. Some may say it was divine intervention. We believe strongly in manifesting what you want and putting it into the world.
We are thankful we got to see the folks, because we hadn’t seen the family (sisters and niece) since Christmas; Mum and dad for even longer. We keep saying to ourselves, at least it’s not 14 years and thousands of dollars out of pocket, which was what happened when we were separated from them in London. So, it’s a bonus. We are already planning to sneak in during the next holiday, unless COVID has other ideas.
Until the day we can walk next door to visit grandma and grandpa, we will keep taking these trips as often as we can and keep hinting at the family to come down and visit. Alice…
