Hey Beautiful people, welcome back to the Jalloh family blog. Pull up a pew and stay for a while; We have some things to tell you.
Reports IN!!! Oh my goodness… that was crazy.
If you read the last blog, you would’ve seen how the royal ‘we’ decided that this Christmas was the right time to start Vlogmas. I am not one hundred percent sure what Vlogmas is all about except that we are going to film and upload something for everyday of the week up until the 25th December. You would’ve also read that my class reports (26 x 3 individual comments) were due by Friday 4th December. And all that while we were out having fun.
Who does that?
Well, a week later, you’ll be happy to know Ruth was right, as she always is, and I had finished all the comment with a message from my exec about ‘outstanding comments that demonstrate how well’ I knew the children. Only a few edits to make for grammar and school expectation and I was good to go.
As this was happening, me Ruth and the kids were still filming to keep up with Vlogmas. We’ve had to be creative for content, which, I guess is what ’real’ Youtubers have to do every week.
Our blogging journey began because we moved from the UK and wanted to capture our transition, especially For Ruth’s dad in the UK. YouTube was supposed to have been started simultaneously but we were weary of the lows that come with the highs. Though we want to make the videos entertaining, we realised that it is also a video diary for Grandpa Nap, who wants to see his grand children, now on the other side of the world, grow up. So we have to make sure we don’t go overboard with the theatrics and pranks :)…
